October 2023 - Blended learning provider Rise Up has been shortlisted in two categories in the LPI (Learning and Performance Institute)’s 2024 Learning Awards, the learning sector’s annual celebration of outstanding achievement, best practice, and excellence in workplace learning and performance.

Rise Up has been shortlisted in the Learning Platform of the Year and Start-up Learning Platform of the Year.

The Learning Platform of the Year Award is a new category designed to recognize the difference the right platform can make to an organization’s people and their performance.

Rise Up has been recognized for its work with a current customer that has scaled by 300% in the last year with the help of the Learning Platform. The client’s adoption of the Rise Up learning platform emerged from a pressing organizational need to overcome limitations with their existing LMS provider. Rise Up was chosen for its alignment with the company’s objectives and immediate benefits, and the speedy implementation within 2 months demonstrated Rise Up's commitment to rapid skill development. This translated into tangible business performance improvements, exemplified by swift onboarding of 200+ learners on day 1 of launch, a feat that would have taken six months traditionally.

Arnaud Blachon, CEO and Co-Founder of Rise Up said: “The team is incredibly proud of the work they have done with this customer. The client’s success is our success, as we work as an extension of their team in a collaborative partnership to facilitate best-in-class learning.  It is great to see this partnership recognized by the industry.”

The Start-Up Learning Provider of the Year Award is presented to any independent enterprise that has been trading for under three years and has made a significant contribution to the sector with its innovative, high-quality products or services. Rise Up UK (Squarance Ltd), the British sister start-up company of Rise Up has been shortlisted based on its impact on the British training provider market with its bespoke solution, creating a community-led space for users, including RED driving school, Click2 learn, Create Development and many more. The company secured a near-perfect rating on the customer survey conducted at the start of the year with a 98% retention rate and has grown by 250% as a result of the success of its LearningOpsTM initiative.

Arnaud added: “When we decided to expand into the UK we recognized that we were entering a crowded marketplace with almost no brand recognition. On top of this, L&D professionals were increasingly frustrated and cynical about LMS providers and the return on investment.

“Our model is about disrupting the status quo. Our best-practice LearningOps framework underpins our customer service support and product roadmap, enabling LMS users to guarantee their learning ROI and successfully embed learning across business operations. We have learned that the power of listening and advising as an ally is what truly enables a successful LMS/LXP project, and to have that recognized by the LPI is very rewarding.”

Rise Up is the headline sponsor at LPI’s Learning Awards, set to take place on the 22nd of February 2024 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London.
